Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, has reached a settlement agreement with his estranged wife in their divorce, Delawareonline.com reported Wednesday.

A judge lifted a stay in their divorce case Tuesday, the report said. Biden’s estranged wife, Kathleen Buhle Biden, claimed in court documents that Hunter Biden had been using their money to pay for drugs, alcohol and prostitutes.

Reports surfaced last month that Hunter Biden and the widow of his deceased brother, Beau Biden, had begun their own romantic relationship.

{mosads}Beau, husband of Hallie Biden, died in 2015 at 46 of brain cancer.

“Hallie and I are incredibly lucky to have found the love and support we have for each other in such a difficult time, and that’s been obvious to the people who love us most,” Hunter Biden told the the New York Post in a statement last month.

“We’ve been so lucky to have family and friends who have supported us every step of the way,” he added.

Joe Biden reportedly said the couple has the full support of himself and his wife.

“We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness,” the former vice president said in a statement.

Hunter Biden and his estranged wife had requested the settlement agreement be sealed, but that request was denied. A divorce hearing has been scheduled for April 14.
