Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) is applauding the removal of Bill O'Reilly from Fox News, saying the decision signals that network is no longer a "sexual harassment enterprise."
"It was a sexual harassment enterprise there at Fox. The men there and Roger Ailes, this was a way of life for them," Waters said on CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360."
"Powerful men with a lot of money who would proposition women, taking advantage of them, they thought that was normal and the way that life should be," Waters continued. "It has only been in recent years that women feel strong enough to come forward ... things have changed."
"Thank god it's stopped now with Bill O'Reilly at Fox," she concluded.
Shortly after she appeared for the CNN segment, Waters added in a tweet that rich men would one day go to jail for criminal conduct.
Regarding the news on O'Reilly, a day will come when rich men won't be able to buy their way out of criminal conduct & they will go to jail.

O'Reilly on Wednesday was fired from his Fox New show, "The O'Reilly Factor," following reports of sexual harassment allegations. His show was the top-rated cable news show for the last 15 years.
Waters and O'Reilly clashed last month when O'Reilly said he "didn't hear a word" Waters said during comments on the House floor because he was focused on her "James Brown wig."
