Biden officiates same-sex wedding over Memorial Day weekend

Former Vice President Joe Biden officiated the wedding of a Democratic National Committee staffer over Memorial Day weekend.
Biden presided over the wedding between DNC finance chairman Henry Muños III and his husband, Kyle Ferrari, according to People magazine.
Actress Melanie Griffith was in attendance and posted a photo of the wedding on her Instagram.
Biden officiated his first wedding last year, marrying two former White House staffers at his Naval Observatory home.

Biden has been a long-time vocal supporter of same-sex marriage. As vice president, he publicly endorsed gay marriage before the 2012 presidential election, forcing the hand of then-President Barack Obama, who hadn’t yet made similar remarks. Obama later endorsed same-sex marriage, becoming the first sitting American president to do so.
