Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee last week that he wrote memos about his meetings with Trump.

“When he said that the president lied about him and he used the L-word, Comey was lying. How do we know? Look at all of the things he said. That was ridiculous to not have done a memo, and then I heard him say he had done the memo and then he talked with some of his colleagues,” the congressman said on Sunday.

Gohmert called for serious legal consequences for Justice Department officials Comey talked to regarding the memos.

“We need to round up everybody he talked to, because they were all conspiring against the president,” he said.
