Activist behind Planned Parenthood videos may go to jail: report

The anti-abortion activist who engineered the undercover videos that accused Planned Parenthood of selling fetal body parts could be headed to prison, according to a report from BuzzFeed.
David Daleiden and his attorneys allegedly violated a series of injunctions and court issued seals by publicly releasing more videos of abortion providers, as well as the identities of 14 individuals, whose names were protected by a court seal, taking part in the complaint against him.
{mosads}Daleiden’s attorneys could also be facing time in prison. Two of the attorneys posted a list of the names of their client’s accusers in a California state criminal case, along with a link to 17 secretly recorded videos recorded at the National Abortion Federation in 2014 and 2015, according to the report.
The activist is the founder of the anti-abortion organization Center for Medical progress.
Daleiden, along with a fellow activist, released secretly recorded footage in 2015 appearing to show Planned Parenthood employees discussing medical procedures.
The incident nearly led to a potential government shutdown over the issue of whether tax dollars fund abortions.
Daleiden is currently facing federal and state charges, which include 15 felonies.
