Deputy White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, “the president fights fire with fire," while first lady Melania Trump’s spokeswoman said, "when her husband gets attacked, he will punch back 10 times harder.”
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the president “acted like a human, and he pushed back” against MSNBC attacks.
