President Obama can count Congressman, and potential Pennsylvania Senate candidate, Joe Sestak (D) in his column.

Sestak just said on MSNBC that Obama's speech "with a question...reaffirmed my belief that [closing Guantanamo Bay] is the right thing to do."

Closing the prison isn't necessary "in the practical sense," Sestak said, but it would be a "symbol around in the world."

"The president is doing the right thing," Sestak added.
