The online biography of a professor linked to the FBI's investigation of Russia has been removed from the website of Link Campus University (LCU) in Rome, BuzzFeed News reports.

Information for Joseph Mifsud, a professor of political science and international relations who taught at LCU for years, is missing from the school's website, with all references to the professor gone from faculty pages and links to his biography leading to a 404 error page.

LCU did not respond to BuzzFeed's request for comment as to whether Mifsud is still employed at the school. A spokesman for the school previously told Buzzfeed that he worked for the university on a varying, contractual basis.
