Hundreds of women gathered in D.C. on Thursday to protest the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

The #WomenDisobey march was organized to protest the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy at the border, which led to the separation of immigrant families caught illegally crossing the border.

The crowds, largely comprised of women, blocked traffic as they protested outside of the Department of Justice building.

Video shows protestors chanting “abolish ICE” and “we care.”

Demonstrators also marched to the offices of senators, yelling, “What do we want, justice. When do we want it, now.”

Trump signed an executive order last week to end the policy of separating immigrant children from parents or guardians facing prosecution for illegally crossing the border.

That zero tolerance policy remains in place and officials are now identifying ways to detain immigrant families together.
