Chelsea Clinton mocked the National Enquirer's coverage of Hillary ClintonHillary Diane Rodham ClintonChelsea Clinton announces birth of third child Ukrainian officials and Giuliani are sharing back-channel campaign information: report A question for Robert Mueller MORE in a tweet Thursday afternoon, joking that she must have "missed" all the health scares the tabloid alleges her mother has suffered.

Responding to a Quartz reporter's tweet showing a photo spread of Enquirer covers featuring the former secretary of State and first lady, Chelsea Clinton wrote that she was grateful for her mother's health, grace, grit & goodness."

"I’d missed the lung cancer cover, the stroke story, the one about my mom @HillaryClinton’s hitman (possibly my missing alien sibling?!) and goodness, I think all of them actually. As always, thankful for my mom’s enduring health, grace, grit & goodness," Clinton tweeted.

The Clinton cover tweet came as David Pecker, the CEO of the company that publishes the National Enquirer, has reportedly been granted immunity as part of the investigation into President TrumpDonald John TrumpChelsea Clinton announces birth of third child Ukrainian officials and Giuliani are sharing back-channel campaign information: report Trump attacks 'the Squad' as 'racist group of troublemakers' MORE's longtime lawyer Michael Cohen.

Pecker met with the prosecution to discuss Cohen's involvement in nondisclosure agreements with two women who claim to have had affairs with Trump more than a decade ago, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

Cohen pleaded guilty to eight charges on Tuesday, including one count of making an excessive campaign contribution on Oct. 27, 2016, the same date Cohen finalized a payment to adult-film star Stormy Daniels for her silence over the affair she says she had with Trump.

According to the Journal, Pecker's information seems to have informed the prosecutors' charging documents, which were revealed Tuesday.

The Enquirer cover tweet seems to target Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign for president, which was marked by coverage of her health that many supporters called sexist. This included videos of her coughing that became conspiracies on right-wing websites.

Clinton, 70, had a minor health scare during the general election when she appeared to collapse due to illness following a 9/11 memorial ceremony.

Chelsea Clinton said earlier this week that she was considering her own entrance into politics in the future, though she cautioned that such a decision would be a "definite no" at the present time.

“I think my family ... is being really well represented," Clinton said on Monday. "But if that were to change, if my city councilor were to retire, if my congresswoman were to retire, my senators, and I thought that I could make a positive impact, then I think I would really have to ask my answer to that question [of whether to run for office]."

“For me it’s a definite no now but it’s a definite maybe in the future because who knows what the future is going to bring?” she added.
