Bloomberg sees ‘lack of civility and openness and honesty’ in Trump administration
CNN poll: 32 percent say they’re proud to have Trump as president
The survey, released on Monday, found that 32 percent of respondents say that they're proud to have Trump as president.
It is the lowest mark since Trump took office and represents a 6-point decrease since March, CNN reported.
Trump received similar responses in regard to other aspects of his presidency.
Just 36 percent of respondents approved of the way Trump was handling his position as president. While 32 percent believe the president is honest and trustworthy, and just 36 percent say he "cares about people like you."
CNN noted that the response to whether Trump "cares about people like you" hit a new low.
The poll's release comes as the White House faces increasing scrutiny over details in a new book from veteran journalist Bob Woodward, as well as an op-ed written by an anonymous senior administration official.
The book and op-ed have painted a picture of a White House that is consistently at odds with Trump's impulses.
The administration has pushed back hard against the credibility of the reporting and the op-ed, however.
The poll from CNN was conducted Sept. 6-9 among a population of 1,003 adults. The margin of error is 3.8 percentage points
