Trump called out the adult-film star after a federal judge threw out Daniels's defamation lawsuit on Monday.

Apart from calling her "Horseface," Trump also warned he would "go after" her.

The judge's ruling does not affect the lawsuit Daniels has launched regarding a 2016 nondisclosure agreement.

Daniels's attorney, Michael Avenatti, also criticized the tweet, calling Trump "a disgusting misogynist and an embarrassment to the United States."

Trump has frequently insulted the appearance of women who criticize him, mocking Carly Fiorina in 2015 by saying, "Look at that face. Would anyone vote for that?" He also went after "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski in 2017, claiming she was "bleeding badly from a face-lift" at a New Year's Eve party at Mar-a-Lago.
