‘Baby Trump’ balloon makes California debut

A giant balloon designed to look like an infant President Trump made its debut in California on Friday.
The balloon was flown in downtown Los Angeles in the lead up to the weekend’s fourth annual Politicon, also dubbed the “Unconventional Political Convention.”
According to a release from the political convention, the balloon is one of several political statements that will be made this weekend as part of the two-day convention.
{mosads}Participants at this year’s convention include high-profile lawyer Michael Avenatti, actress and political activist Alyssa Milano, Fox News host Tucker Carlson, conservative commentator Ann Coulter, journalist April Ryan, former NBA star Dennis Rodman and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R).
The balloon first appeared in London over the summer to protest Trump’s visit to the United Kingdom.
Since the balloon’s appearance in London, other activists across the U.S. have used the balloon in their own protests against Trump.
Activists have obtained two replicas of the Trump baby blimp in New Jersey and reportedly plan to fly them outside the president’s golf resort in Bedminster.
Another version was flown in West Palm Beach, Fla., at a rally earlier this year in support of increased hurricane recovery efforts in Puerto Rico.
