German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s plane was diverted because of technical issues as it traveled to Argentina for the Group of 20 (G-20) largest economies summit.

The plane safely landed in Cologne, a government spokesperson told CNN. The delay caused Merkel to reschedule some meetings.

Reporters were told the plane was getting a replacement part to deal with an electronics system malfunction.

Pictures show several emergency response officials surrounding the plane after it landed, though no injuries were reported.
