“Couldn’t decide between an angel or a star,” the meme reads in text laid over a Christmas tree. “So I picked both.”

The tree in the photo is adorned with lights and ornaments and a fixture designed in the president’s likeness where the tree topper would typically be located.

Along with the photo, Trump Jr. captioned the post with smiling emojis and American flags along with the hashtags "triggered," "Christmas," "star" and "angel."

His followers overwhelmingly supported the post with more than 80,000 likes.

“Christmas is great again,” one user commented, while another wrote: “By picking both you really did good.”

However, some commenters took the opportunity to lash out at the president.

"This is the opposite of an angel or star," one critic wrote, while another said, "Looks like you chose neither."
