Ocasio-Cortez pokes DNC over 'Boy Bye' promo: 'Someone didn't go to my Twitter class'

On Saturday the DNC tweeted, “This is a whole mood. Twitter users were quick to mock the seeming appeal to younger voters, and Ocasio-Cortez responded Wednesday by saying, “Someone didn’t go to my Twitter class."

Ocasio-Cortez hosted a session for other Democratic lawmakers on effectively using social media in January with Rep. The session was "on the most effective ways to engage constituents on Twitter and the importance of digital storytelling,” USA Today reported. She has led the way among lawmakers for viral videos and livestreams to engage with voters.

The freshman lawmaker's tweet was widely endorsed by other users, who even chimed in with their own jokes.
