Booker prepping for first 2020 debate with bicep curls

NBC News reporter Leigh Ann Caldwell tweeted a video of the senator using weights in a dress shirt and tie, writing “.@CoryBooker’s debate prep includes push ups and bicep curls 'to keep him motivated' a campaign aide said.”


Some Twitter users questioned the senator’s workout gear.

Booker will face off against nine other Democratic candidates Wednesday night in the first official Democratic debate of the 2020 election. Ten other candidates will hold a second debate Thursday night.
