Booker prepping for first 2020 debate with bicep curls

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) is preparing mentally and physically for Wednesday night’s first debate among the Democrats running for president in 2020.
NBC News reporter Leigh Ann Caldwell tweeted a video of the senator using weights in a dress shirt and tie, writing “.@CoryBooker’s debate prep includes push ups and bicep curls ‘to keep him motivated’ a campaign aide said.”

Booker will face off against nine other Democratic candidates Wednesday night in the first official Democratic debate of the 2020 election. Ten other candidates will hold a second debate Thursday night.
