Man caught at Spanish airport with pound of cocaine under toupee
Spanish officials have arrested a man suspected of smuggling a pound of cocaine into the country under his toupee.
Photos posted by police at Spain's second-largest airport in Barcelona showed the man's unique smuggling attempt, which to hide the drugs underneath a large, bulging toupee.
Officers told reporters that they were immediately suspicious of the man due to his strange appearance and said that the man appeared "considerably nervous" while attempting to pass through a security checkpoint, according to CBS.
Spanish news outlet La Vanguardia reported that the street value of the seized cocaine could exceed 30,000 euros, or about $33,681.
