Sanders draws attention with hoarse voice at debate

“The Daily Show’s” official Twitter feed immediately compared Sanders to comedian Larry David’s famously scratchy voice.  

Others agreed with the comparison.

Others Twitter users continued joking about the senator’s voice.

But some noted that Sanders has regularly raised his voice at previous debates, worrying about his voice for the rest of the debate after his hoarse opening statement.
