According to the news agency, footage shows traffic stalled in several lanes on the Garden State Parkway on Sunday, with local authorities saying the convoy at one point backed up traffic for five miles.
NBC New York reports that footage appeared to show several hundred vehicles taking part in one of the caravans in New Jersey earlier on Sunday.

The convoy reportedly helped spark a protest that resulted in multiple arrests as a number of people gathered near Madison Square Park to counter the caravans.
Protesters reportedly thought the pro-Trump convoy would make its way through the area on Sunday, but it did not.
Local police clashed with protesters in the area, with footage obtained by The New York Post showing officers shoving demonstrators on a sidewalk.
At least 11 people were arrested, according to reports.
