A day after the Club for Growth released a poll showing its candidate ahead in New York's special election, the Minuteman PAC is doing the same.

The Minuteman PAC poll, performed by Neighborhood Research, shows Hoffman at 34 percent, Democrat Bill Owens at 29 percent, and Republican Dede Scozzafava at 14 percent.

A Club for Growth poll from Monday had Hoffman up on Owens 31-27, with Scozzafava at 20 percent.

Both the Minuteman PAC and the Club for Growth are backing Hoffman in the race. Prior to the two new polls, independent polling had Owens leading the field.

The race is Nov. 3, one week from now.
