Sen. Blanche Lincoln's (D-Ark.) 2010 continues to look more and more unpleasant.
Soon-to-be-candidate Rep. John Boozman (R-Ark.) is polling a 56-33 lead over the senator in a new Public Policy Polling (D) survey. While Lincoln's numbers have not been good in recent months, this newest poll places her in an even more difficult position.
PPP also pegged Lincoln's approval at just 27 percent, with 62 percent disapproving. Boozman leads 66-20 among independents.
Boozman is still unknown to about 43 percent of the state's voters, so there is some room left to define him. Whether or not anything negative sticks remains to be seen.
Boozman is set to announce his candidacy on Saturday.
