President Barack Obama is predicting the University of Kansas Jayhawks defeat the University of Kentucky Wildcats for college basketball's championship.

According to presidential brackets released to ESPN, the president picked Kentucky and Kansas in his Final Four, in addition to the Kansas State and Villanova University teams, both nicknamed the Wildcats.

Obama correctly predicted last year's national championship winner, the University of North Carolina Tarheels, in brackets which were also released to ESPN.

Mike Krzyzewski, the coach of UNC's archrival Duke University Blue Devils, criticized Obama at the time for not focusing enough on his job.

The president seems to have a penchant for some first round upsets, predicting nine games out of 32 opening round matchups in which the lower seed would upend the higher seed.

Those games are:

10 Ga Tech over 7 Oklahoma
9 N. Iowa over 8 UNLV
9 Fla. State over 8 Gonzaga
13 Murray State over 4 Vanderbilt
10 St. Mary's over 7 Richmond
13 Siena over 4 Purdue
9 Louisville over 8 California
10 Missouri over 7 Clemson
12 Cornell over 5 Temple
