The Minnesota Supreme Court will hear Republican Norm Coleman's appeal of the results of his Senate contest with Democrat Al FrankenAlan (Al) Stuart FrankenAl Franken on another Senate run: 'I'm keeping my options open' Andrew Cuomo and the death of shame Could Andrew Cuomo — despite scandals — be re-elected because of Trump? The court's schedule is similar to what Coleman requested. Coleman must file his brief by Thursday. Franken is to file a response by May 11 and Coleman can reply to Franken's brief by May 15.

The court will then hear the argument on June 1 at 9 A.M.

A three judge panel ruled in Franken's favor last week. Coleman is appealing that ruling to the state's Supreme Court.

As a result of the court's ruling, Franken's lead ballooned from 225 votes to 312 votes.
