One candidate for Congress in tomorrow's Illinois-05 special election primary is set to reach across the partisan divide, if his internet advertising is any hint.

Labor lawyer Tom Geoghegan's ad (complete with a very helpful pronunciation key for his last name) graced Google reader's ads this afternoon. Geoghegan has found particular strong support among liberal bloggers, who even went so far as to host a fundraiser for the candidate in D.C. during the primary cycle.

Geoghegan may ask for some money back from Google, though, when his automated ad appeared beneath a blog posting from Hot Air, a conservative blog run by Ed Morrissey. The blog in question discussed Sen. Dick Durbin's (D-Ill.) comments that race played a role in deciding to seat Sen. Roland Burris (D-Ill.) in the Senate.
