Federal investigators are looking into whether the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN) is engaging in voter fraud on a national basis, reports the Associated Press.

A senior law enforcement official told the wire service that the FBI is looking at the results of recent raids to see if there is a coordinated effort by ACORN to falsely register voters. Republicans have attacked ACORN for submitting invalid registration forms, including one for a voter with the name "Mickey Mouse."
