A conservative group opposed to universal healthcare will air ads starting today taking the unusual step of including British and Canadian doctors making an argument against an American single-payer system.

Conservatives for Patients' Rights (CPR) Action Fund will spend over $1 million on ads featuring physicians and healthcare experts arguing against an American version of the system used in the U.K. and Canada.

The 60-second ad will feature the former president of the Canadian Medical Association, and a cancer specialist from Great Britain.
