
The world was left with a lot of unanswered questions after voters in the United Kingdom elected Thursday to leave the European Union.
According to Google, voters in the U.K. had a lot of unanswered questions as well about leaving the EU — like, “What is the EU?”

Google Trends reports that the second most searched question in the U.K. following the results of the vote was “What is the EU?” followed closely by “Which countries are in the EU?”
The question most on the minds of Brits was, per Google, “What does it mean to leave the EU?”
