Total Nonstop Action Wrestling has invited Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) to appear at its pay-per-view event next month.

The wrestling group, known as TNA Wrestling, doesn't want Palin to fight. It wants Palin, a former beauty pageant contestant, to appear with its scantily-clad group of female talent called "The Beautiful People."

TNA Wrestling said it will donate $50,000 to a charity of Palin's choice or to the youth hockey association in her hometown, Wasilla, Alaska.

TNA President Dixie Carter tried to flatter Palin, the first Republican female vice presidential nominee, by noting the difficulties she has faced.
