While in the district I also had the opportunity to host the awards banquet for the winner of this year’s First District Congressional Art Competition. It was a wonderful experience to get to visit with the talented young artists that submitted their work to this competition. It is these qualities of creativity and initiative that will prepare our children for leadership roles in the future. I encourage students to participate next year because the talent in our selves is something that we should nurture, develop, share and inspire.
Going back to Arizona and connecting with the people that I represent is a priority to me. I am looking forward to continuing the conversation whether it’s on the phone, in person or even via email. Thank you for giving me the privilege to represent the best district in America.
