John Edwards Speaks Out Against Possible Draft

In a collection of speeches given around Iowa, former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) vocalizes his opposition to the Iraq War, including the possibility of reinstating a military draft.

“We have got to end this mess of a war in Iraq,” Edwards said. “Now Bush and his gang are talking about consideration of a draft. I got a better idea … how about we bring our men and women home from Iraq?”
