In this video, the Democratic House leadership discussed what it has accomplished in the first one hundred days as a majority.

Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said that the Democratic majority held the House in session 48 days in the first three months of the Congress - one third more than any of the previous three congresses.

At the end of the clip, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) asked President Bush to respect Congress' constitutional role.

"Say to him calm down with the threats. There's a new Congress in town," Pelosi said, "We respect your constitutional role, we want you to respect ours."
