House Budget Committee to take up budget-reform bills
H.R. 3582, the Pro-Growth Budgeting Act, to require macroeconomic analysis of the budget;
H.R. 3578, the Baseline Reform Act, reforming the budget baseline to remove automatic inflation increases in discretionary accounts;
H.R. 3581, the Budget and Accounting Transparency Act, to bring government-sponsored entities and the U.S. Postal Service into the budget, and;
H.R. 3575, the Legally Binding Budget Act, to give congressionally passed budgets the force of law.
