Ads launched to back House GOP on ObamaCare vote

A nonprofit allied with Speaker Paul RyanPaul Davis RyanThree-way clash set to dominate Democratic debate Krystal Ball touts Sanders odds in Texas Republicans pour cold water on Trump's term limit idea MORE (R-Wis.) launched a national ad buy on Monday providing cover for House Republicans who voted for the American Health Care Act.

The $500,000 buy from the American Action Network will air nationally and on cable television, including on MSNBC's “Morning Joe” and Fox News's “Fox & Friends.” It will also air in Ryan's Wisconsin district.

“The Republican health plan provides families with more choices, better coverage and lower premiums,” a narrator says.

“Thank Paul Ryan and House Republicans for keeping their word and fighting for the health care we deserve.”

The ad comes as House Republicans meet with constituents in their districts this week following the narrow 217-213 vote last Thursday.

The ad buy launched on Monday is in addition to American Action Network's $2 million campaign airing in 21 districts nationwide thanking Republicans who voted for the bill. That ad is focused on helping Republicans in competitive districts.
