House Democrats will hear speakers ranging from singer John Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, to Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell at their annual retreat next week as they discuss their legislative agenda.

Powell will offer a picture of the national economic situation, according to an aide familiar with the planning. He has been a frequent target of Trump over the central bank's interest rate policy.

Democrats will hold their retreat at the Lansdowne Resort and Spa in Leesburg, Va., from April 10 to 12.

They initially planned to hold their retreat in February, but rescheduled it due to the government shutdown.
