The Ohio Republican, who announced his resignation from Congress last month, is poised to appear on “The Tonight Show” with host Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, Boehner’s office confirmed in a tweet. An NBC spokeswoman also confirmed the booking to ITK.
Boehner appeared on the NBC talk show last year, in one of former host Jay Leno’s final programs before retiring.
Other guests for Thursday’s “Tonight Show” include Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender, “United States of Tara” star Brie Larson and singer Cee Lo Green.
