Nordstrom said it decided to stop carrying Ivanka Trump’s merchandise due to a decline in sales. But the company noted that customers have been threatening to boycott.

“This is a sharply divisive subject,” Co-President Pete Nordstrom said. “No matter what we do, we are going to end up disappointing some of our customers. Every single brand we offer is evaluated on their results — if people don’t buy it, we won’t sell it.”

Some have been prompted by the Grab Your Wallet campaign, a group that has been critical of the Trump administration that has urged shoppers to boycott companies that sell Ivanka And Donald Trump-branded products.
