George H.W. Bush: I would have sung with Lady Gaga if asked

Former President George H.W. Bush joked on Twitter that he would have sung with Lady Gaga at a Saturday benefit concert for hurricane relief.

“Not sure abt 39, @BillClinton, 43 and @BarackObama, but I would have sung w @ladygaga if asked,” Bush tweeted. “Thanks to all for supporting @AmericaAppeal.”

The presidents came together last month to launch a collective effort to raise money for victims of the hurricanes that devastated parts of the U.S. this season.

The fundraising campaign, called the One America Appeal, raised at least $31 million ahead of the benefit concert on Saturday at Texas A&M.
