Ivanka Trump, Chelsea Clinton defend Malia Obama amid tabloid coverage

Ivanka Trump and Chelsea Clinton are defending former first daughter Malia Obama amid media reports about her personal life.
The current and former first daughters’ defense of former President Obama’s elder daughter came after a video showing her apparently blowing smoke rings went viral. Other media reports in recent months have attempted to chronicle Malia Obama’s personal life since she left the White House.
Malia Obama should be allowed the same privacy as her school aged peers. She is a young adult and private citizen, and should be OFF limits.

Malia Obama’s private life, as a young woman, a college student, a private citizen, should not be your clickbait. Be better.

Malia Obama, 19, is currently a student at Harvard University.
Clinton has taken up for her fellow first children before. In August, she came to the defense of President Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, after The Daily Caller published a column criticizing the way the 11-year-old was dressed.
“It’s high time the media & everyone leave Barron Trump alone & let him have the private childhood he deserves,” Clinton wrote on Twitter at the time.
