Jimmy Fallon took a swing at President Trump on Monday night by debuting a parody Christmas carol in the vein of Bruce Springsteen, “Robert MuellerRobert (Bob) MuellerSenate Democrats urge Garland not to fight court order to release Trump obstruction memo Why a special counsel is guaranteed if Biden chooses Yates, Cuomo or Jones as AG Barr taps attorney investigating Russia probe origins as special counsel MORE’s Coming to Town.”

Fallon performed the song on “The Tonight Show” while dressed as the E Street Band leader, whose rock rendition of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” is popular around Christmas.

“You’d better watch out, you’d better not cry, You’d better not lie to the FBI, Robert Mueller’s coming to town,” Fallon sang. “He’s making a list of naughty and nice, he’s gonna find out just who to indict, Robert Mueller’s coming to town.”

“He sees your Russian meetings, he’s read all your emails, he knows that you tried to collude, it isn’t ‘fake news’ for goodness’s sake,” he continued.

The performance comes days after former national security adviser Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russia. The Flynn indictment is the fourth in the special counsel's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. Many see Flynn’s indictment as an indication that the investigation is quickly ramping up.

While other late-night hosts like Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert have centered their shows around politics, Fallon has been hesitant to introduce a political angle to his show, saying that “it’s just not what I do.”

Colbert’s ratings have overtaken Fallon’s in the past year.
