The president, his family and members of his Cabinet all attended his annual New Year’s Eve celebration at his Mar-a-Lago resort in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The minority leader has been a frequent and outspoken critic of the Trump administration.

Ticket prices for the event reportedly rose compared to 2016, when Trump hosted the event as president-elect.
