The lines between fact and fiction are about to be blurred: Kevin Spacey, who plays a conniving House majority whip on Netflix’s “House of Cards,” is participating in a discussion on real-life ethics and power in politics.

The lecture, titled “Ethics, Power and Politics,” is being held Monday at Georgetown University by the school’s department of government.

Although Spacey shadowed living and breathing Reps. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) to prep for his role, his character on the Web series is one of pure fiction.

Ron Klain, a Georgetown adjunct professor and former chief of staff to Vice Presidents Gore and Biden, will join the actor for the ethics convo.
