The first lady’s office announced Friday that Obama will tape an episode of BET’s “106 & Park” in New York on Monday, which will include an interview with show hosts Bow Wow and Keshia Chante.
A White House news release said Obama’s sit-down on the music video show is an effort to “speak directly to young people about committing to their education so that they can create a better future for themselves and their country.”
Bow Wow, 26, hit it big as a child rapper (when he still went by the stage name Lil’ Bow Wow) with the song “Bounce with Me.”
Obama’s interview is scheduled to air on Tuesday.
