Sen. Tim Scott is taking a page out of President Obama and Ellen DeGeneres’ Twitter playbooks by snapping his first selfie.
The South Carolina Republican posted a photo of himself on Wednesday posing with a group of students and displaying an unforgettable facial expression.

The 48-year-old lawmaker has more than 57,000 followers on Twitter and recently delivered the Republican weekly address, where he touted a jobs training initiative countering Obama’s “year of action” plan.
