Posters bashing Gwyneth Paltrow as an “Obama drone” are popping up in the Academy Award winner’s Los Angeles neighborhood ahead of a Democratic fundraiser featuring the president that she’s hosting at her home.

{mosads}One of the images is in the same style as President Obama’s famed “Hope” campaign poster but shows an illustration of Paltrow with the words, “Obama drone” in bold. Another poster takes a page out of the “Iron Man 3” actress’s blog entry from earlier this year in which she referred to her separation from Coldplay singer Chris Martin as “conscious uncoupling.” A photograph of Obama next to the American flag is torn in two on the poster, with “conscious uncoupling” in all caps, along with “Brought to you by Gwyneth Paltrow.”

According to Curbed LA, a street artist named Sabo appears to be taking credit for plastering the images around the actress’s L.A. pad. The artist, who targets a number of Democrats with his renderings, posted a photo of one of the anti-Obama posters on Twitter:

Tickets for the Paltrow-hosted fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee on Thursday — which Obama is expected to attend — range from $1,000 to $32,400.
