Obamas head to parent-teacher conferences
President Obama and Michelle Obama traded the White House for the classroom on Monday, attending parent-teacher conferences for their two daughters.
Obama’s motorcade was eyed rolling up to Sidwell Friends School in suburban Washington late Monday morning, according to a White House press pool report.
The White House says the president and first lady arrived at the private school for the annual autumn powwow between students’ parents and teachers.
Malia Obama, 16, is in the 11th grade at the school, while 13-year-old Sasha is an 8th grader.
