Hillary Clinton, Robert De Niro to be honored at RFK gala
Hillary Clinton, Robert De Niro and Tony Bennett are among those being honored at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights annual gala.
An invitation for the Dec. 16 event in New York City says Clinton’s “long career in public service has been distinguished by a deep commitment to human rights.”
Bennett and “The Godfather” star De Niro are also being recognized for their philanthropy, along with Physicians Interactive Chairman and CEO Donato Tramuto.
The former secretary of State and potential 2016 presidential candidate will likely mix it up with an eclectic mix of celebs at the “Ripple of Hope” awards dinner: Alec Baldwin, Melanie Griffith, Chad Lowe, Cheryl Hines, “Homeland’s” Mandy Patinkin, “Law & Order” star Sam Waterston, Antonio Banderas, and “24’s” Dennis Haysbert are a few of the guests expected there.
