Kim Kardashian: ‘I’m standing with Obama in the midterm election’
Despite his rocky history with her reality TV family, Kim Kardashian says she’s “standing [with] Obama in the midterm election,” tweeting out her support for Democrats just hours before Americans head to the polls.
The “Keeping up With the Kardashians” starlet, 34, posted on Monday night to her 25 million Twitter followers:

Michelle Obama said in a 2011 interview that the president preferred his then-tween daughters didn’t watch the Kardashian clan’s popular E! show. “Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians — when they watch that stuff — he doesn’t like that as much,” the first lady said.
Obama once famously called Kardashian’s now-husband, rapper Kanye West, a “jackass” in a 2009 sit-down interview. Kardashian, who wed West in a lavish ceremony earlier this year, criticized Obama for the remark, reportedly telling Britain’s GQ magazine last month, “I don’t think it’s very appropriate for the president of the United States to be commenting on pop culture.”
In her Monday tweet, Kardashian also appeared to get a plug in for her mega-hit smartphone app game, “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.” The tabloid regular included her avatar from the game alongside an illustrated image of Obama.
