Rep. Chaffetz — and his cot — makes office move
Rep. Jason Chaffetz is on the move — and he’s taking the cot that he sleeps on in his office with him.
The Utah Republican — one of a handful of lawmakers who catches some zzz’s in his office rather than renting a crash pad on Capitol Hill — tweeted a photo Wednesday of him schlepping his stuff from his old Rayburn House Office Building digs to another workspace on a lower floor.
Moving offices and the cot is coming with me. New digs will be Rayburn 2236 starting tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/0ClW24FUTQ

Chaffetz once offered advice to incoming freshmen who choose to call their office their Washington home, telling The New York Times in 2011 to tape a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door while resting, keep some late-night snacks handy and have a stash of mousetraps at the ready.
